Carleton Traditions – Personal Contributions

I’m working on the final project that explores Carleton’s rich history of traditions and events with five classmates. Today in class we worked on shortlisting the traditions that are of interest to us from the several that Carleton has. We discussed the linearity of the project with Austin and figured out how to overcome that problem so as to enable more interactivity with the timeline. I found brief descriptions of a lot of the events on our original list and attached them to the spreadsheet. We have outlined our timeline of deliverables on the combined blog post here and plan to proceed with it as closely as possible. We will be using Thursday’s class to delve deeper into the actual WordPress interface and set up the timeline template design. In the meanwhile, for our dataset, we will be waiting for library archive in charge, Nat Wilson, to respond to the spreadsheet that has been shared with him. I look forward to seeing the timeline up and am excited to see some progress.
