As the assignment dictated, I have now made a new WordPress site. I will use this site for everything that this class requires before deciding what else to use it for. I’ve noticed a lot of applications for jobs/internships/research positions have a spot for a website and I’ve felt weird not submitting something for every section, so who knows. Maybe I will make this into a real website, probably not though.
Setting up the site wasn’t difficult, although I was lost for most of Pilot’s presentation. Once I went back to the step-by-step guide I found the small, initial step that I’d missed and the rest of the process went quite smoothly.
