It has been a couple years since I lasted used Sketch up. Back then I wasn’t using the online platform, so it starting process felt weird. I kept getting frustrated when making the roof because I kept doing short cuts that are for other CAD programs. This was a trip down memory lane that reminded me of different programs and the benefits of 3D modeling.
The uses for software let sketch up are endless, in my opinion. You can teach architecture or create scenarios. You can give people a glimpse into something real. This isn’t just limited to buildings. You can 3D model areas of the body and print them out to teach medical students or even test hardware.
