So for, the project has been very interesting! My groupmates all made significant contributions over the weekend, finding, scraping, cleaning, and organizing most of the data we’ll need. So far, I have contacted the Gould library to attempt to get data, helped to geocode the Alumni data using a Google Sheets plugin, Geocode by Awesome Table, reformatted some of our data to separate entries that had trouble being geocoded, and uploaded some of this data into public layers on ArcGIS. Going forward, I will work more on adding data to our GIS map and then will help with the data visualization, potentially on ArcGIS or through making charts/graphs.
