Navigating my WordPress site was tough at first. I could not figure out how to use phpMyAdmin! But once I read the instructions thoroughly, things went smoothly. I decided to go for an orange and blue theme. I could see where to customize the colors of the page, but parts of the page remained white, and I couldn’t figure out how to change those elements.
I would use this platform to market my artwork, or sell crafts like the sweaters and ceramics I make, or publicize articles I write. It would be incredibly helpful for applying for jobs. It would make me appear more professional, authoritative, and also digitally competent. A personal website would be an excellent way to advertise myself comprehensively, in all the endeavors I pursue.
One benefit of creating your own website is the control you have over its features and design. You can decide exactly how you would like to present information. One drawback is it requires more digital proficiency to design your own website. By using a social media, every function is decided for you, and it is just up to you to explore the features of the platform.
