Here is the link to our group’s update from week 8. Personally, I’ve reached out to Admissions and Dean’s office for possible data access without success. I also half-manually cleaned up data scanned by my group mates to match up the format, erase unnecessary details, separated international with U.S. alumni/students, and corrected entries by comparing to the data source. I also used a Google Sheets plug-in, Geocode by Awesome Table, to geocode the locations and manually adjusted incorrect geolocated locations. Going forward, I will explore the options to analyze/visualize data on ArcGIS and potentially engage in more data-correcting if required.
